skippy, where are you

When I was on the bus today I saw a blind couple. It was so sweet, they were holding hands and then they both had their seeing eye dogs on the other hand. I dont know, I just find that so amazing. I mean living in a city and being blind, I can't even fathom it. What if someone just spun you around in a circle for a few minutes, what would you do?

I thought about this boy named "skippy" today. In 4th grade he would always skip to lunch so everybody called him "skippy" even though his real name was Ben. And we were allowed to walk to the cafeteria on our own at that time so everybody would always wait around to see "skippy" on his way to lunch. I mean some people that it was cool others just made fun of him cuz it was 4th grade and why would he do that. I joined him a couple of times, it was cool. One day we switched it up and did a gallop, we got lots of looks. Anyways, he moved in the middle of 5th grade due to family problems or something. In 5th grade I remember he taught me to spell dessert. He said it's easy to remember because you always want seconds so there are 2 "s" in it. I still think of that everytime I think of dessert or have to spell it.
