deeptokyo's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- licking frogs and tiger beetles This reminded me of the Simpsons episode when Homer is doing Christian Relief work after being chased down by PBS, he then licks frogs while therelicking frogs> Also last night I was watching Animal Planet and they were doing a countdown of the 10 fastest creatures on earth. Well, no. 2 was this falcon that could go up to 200mph and I was like what the hell is gonna beat that? Well, the tiger beetle believe it or not. It goes about 5mph but in relation to its size, that is super fast. If it were the size of a human it would finish the 100m dash in 1/2 a second. And, it has really good eyesight when standing still but when it runs it goes so fast that it's blind cuz its brain can't process everything.
